Antonio Vieira, 82 of Wollaston Street, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of the late Alexandrina P.(Placido) Vieira. Born in Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Azores he was a son of the late Jose and Maria J.(DaCosta) Vieira. Mr. Vieira was a machine operator for the Harry Ball Company for thirty years before retiring. Before coming to this country he was a fisherman while living in the Azores. He leaves two daughters, Trindade Parreira of Florida and Diane Leitao of Seekonk, three sons, Antonio Vieira of Warwick, Jamie Vieira of Warwick and Jose Vieira of Cranston, 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Hermano Vieira. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence.
