Antonio Pereira

Antonio Pereira, 81, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Sidalia M. (Pacheco) Pereira.

Born in Tojal de Cima, Sao Jorge, Porto de Mos, Portugal he was a son of the late Antonio dos Santos Pereira and Maria da Graca (Santos) Pereira.  Mr. Pereira and his brother were the owners & operators of the former Four Seasons Janitorial Service. He was a member of the Cranston Portuguese Club and the Lusitana Club in Cumberland.

Besides his wife he leaves three children, Antonio M. Pereira of North Providence, Aida M. Stroud of Jacksonville, Florida and Luis F. Pereira of Providence, six grandchildren, Liana, Stephen, Michael, Cassandra, Anthony and Evan, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Rosinda Santos and three brothers, Armando Pereira, Joaquim Pereira and Artur Pereira. He was the brother of the late Maria F. Matos.

His funeral and visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 9-10 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
