Anthony C. Lozito

Anthony C. Lozito, 81, of Bliss Street passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Carolyn L. (Allard) Lozito.

Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Francesco and Wilhelmina (Gonsalves) Lozito.  Mr. Lozito was an electronic technician for the Choquette Company before he retired. He was a Navy veteran.  He loved the outdoors, enjoyed hiking, bike riding and was an avid fisherman.

He leaves three children, Susan J. Lozito and her partner, Thomas Padula, Steven A. Lozito and his wife Kathleen and Patricia L. Lozito all of East Providence, his twin brother, David Lozito and his wife Barbara, five grandchildren; Steven Lozito, Brian Lozito, Kayleigh Lozito, Jennifer (Jason) McGuire, Arielle (Richard) Stefflin and three great grandchildren; Valerie Lozito, Ayva McGuire and Adriana McGuire. He was the brother of the late Frances Lema.

His funeral service will be private. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 4-7 in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. The guidelines set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health will be observed. Face coverings are required and only fifteen people will be allowed in the building at a time.
