Here it is, almost three months later, and I just learned of Mrs. Andrade's passing. I always called her Mrs. Andrade, ever since Donna and I met in elementary school in Providence 63 years ago. Whenever I would fly to Rhode Island, I would drive to New Bedford to visit Mrs. Andrade. The last time was about three or four years ago. She still looked as beautiful as decades before, and we spent alot of time reminiscing about Donna and she remembered all of Donna's school chums in elementary school. I will always keep her memory in my heart. My condolences to her LARGE extended family. That I know from going to a Christmas open house at the Alves home on what was then Traverse renamed ALVES in honor of the family.

I would to extend my deepest sympathy to the family on the loss of your mother, grandmother, sister, aunt or friend. You'll be missed by those who loved you. I remember first meeting you at a record hop at the CV Club when I was just a teenager and you came over to me and complemented on my dancing style and told me to never put "filth" in my dance. She made an impression on me and those words were never forgotten. May we always remember Alice and her gift of making the least of us feel good.🙏 May she rest in peace until we meet again.

Aunt Alice was a very special and unique person. She had a genuine love for everyone. With her passing and going home to sit at the Lord's table, she leaves a large void here on earth, The world is a little darker and colder. because her sparkling spirit and warmth is missing.
