Dr. Darby was a friend and colleague at CMHC when I worked there 20 years ago as nurse manager of the research department. His broad education, clinical expertise and experience, and his good heart together made him a great clinician, cut from a mold we rarely see today. He made a difference; the world is a bit less for his passing, but much more for his gifts. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I am very sorry for your loss. As a pharmacist, I knew this great gentle man. He was so dedicated to his profession and patients. We shared many mutual patients. About 5 years ago I had a very close family member who needed help and I immediately called Al, family member A OKAY and I will be eternally grateful
