Adrian Tognetti, 94 formerly of Rumford Towers passed away on Sunday, October 26,2014 at the Orchard View Manor. He was the husband of the late Madeline (Bailey) Tognetti.Born in New York City, he was a son of the late Antonio and Marie (Boudreau) Tognetti. Mr. Tognetti was a silver spinner for the Gorham Manufacturing Company for 43 years before he retired. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church and previously was a communicant of the Assumption Church for over 80 years. Mr. Tognetti was a mentor and friend to all neighborhood children. He was a avid golfer.He leaves two sons, Paul A. Tognetti and his wife Mary of Cranston and David M. Tognetti and his wife Charlene of Bristol, two sisters, Sr. Marie Antonia Tognetti, R.S.M. of Cumberland and Theresa Hough of Rumford and one brother, Eugene Tognetti of Coventry. He was the brother of the late Beatrice Cady, Anna Tognetti and Yolanda Gagliano.His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 A.M from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M in St. Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8.
