Adelaide (Saraiva) Pacheco, 90 of East Providence passed away Saturday November 25, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Anthony Pacheco. Born in East Providence she was the daughter of the late Jose Joaquim and Adelaide (Paiva) Saraiva. She worked as a line supervisor for Speidel for 22 years after raising her children. Adelaide enjoyed cooking and providing hospitality to family and friends, she enjoyed RV camping with her family and friends, and she was also a member and volunteer at the EP Senior Center. She and her husband Anthony were members of the 40 plus motorcycle club in the 1970’s. Adelaide is survived by one son Robert Pacheco and his companion Marilyn of East Providence, one brother Manuel Saraiva of Rehoboth, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Anthony Pacheco and the sister of the late Jose, and Jake Saraiva. Her funeral will be held on Friday December 1, 2017 at 9 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 5-7 PM.
