Jean M. (Leveille) Barry, 65, of Lincoln passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Norman and Elizabeth (Ritchie) Leveille. Jean was a chemist for the RI Department of Health Laboratories for 30 years. She received her master’s degree from UMass Amhurst in 2012, was a member of the RI Organ Donation Awareness Coalition, RI Chapter of the Ovarian Cancer Coalition, RI Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and enjoyed travel, theatre and most of all her beautiful grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Paul Barry, his wife Kristen, and their two children, Anthony and Teagan of Harrisville, RI; one daughter, Deidre McMahon and her husband Ryan of Madison, CT; three brothers, John Leveille, Norman Leveille, Jr., and James Leveille; two sisters, Norma Tatterfield and Carol Cole; her close niece, Shanyn Turner and her family; and godmother to Tyler Tatterfield and Sophie Turner. She was the sister of the late Edward Leveille. Her calling hours will begin Saturday at 10 AM in the PERRY McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence followed by a funeral service at 12PM. Burial will be private.
